It is our purpose here, and in all of our gatherings, that Christ Jesus be the primary consideration.

” Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I  satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Psalm 91:14-16

There are no greater words of comfort and assurance for the believer than words from God Himself. He is faithful to keep His promises, He cannot lie, He will not forget, and He does not fail. Here He promises to care for those who love Him. He will not leave us, He will answer when we call upon Him, He will protect us, He will deliver us, and He will show us His salvation. These are divine promises. He is faithful to do these things brethren, so… Believe!!

“There is within the heart of all men a hunger for the supernatural. It is God Himself who put it there. Solomon said it like this,

‘He has also set eternity in the hearts of men’ (eccl 3:11)

” – Boyce Mouton.

I am thankful that God puts a desire within us for something more than this world can give us and that he also puts us in the most beneficial time and place to find what we are seeking… God.

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Tin 2:1)…”Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” (1 Cor 16:13)…”Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” (Eph 6:10).

Be Strong! Provision has been made and in Christ we have been granted access to unsearchable riches and an abundance of grace. So, be strong. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Be strong! The Lord has given you that which is required to overwhelmingly conquer and overcome the world by grace through faith. The question is not whether you are able but whether God is able…And He is! Be strong in the power of His might and be not discouraged at you present infirmity. Allow God is manifest His power and glory in your earthen vessel.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isa 40:31

I have  been blessed in remembering this verse and have experienced this beautiful truth. Wait brethren! God WILL supply you strength and provide you grace when you need it! You need only trust and allow Him to do so.   – Sister Kayla Olmsted

“Buy the truth and sell it not” (Proverbs 23:23a).

The most valuable things we possess are not bought with money, but they are bought. Bought with time, bought with effort, bought with faith. Those things cannot be taken from you. So, don’t sell the most valuable things for something that you cannot keep anyway.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

In this world we will face trials. It can be a temptation to pull away or draw back from God at these times. But, remember that He is the God of ALL comfort. There is no comfort, no peace, no hope outside of God. Do not be tempted to draw away when you face various afflictions, but draw in even closer to the only One who can give true comfort, peace that surpasses all understanding, and a hope of eternal life that is real. Also remember: Just as our afflictions are given to us as opportunities build our faith and the faith of others, the comfort that God gives us is for the benefit of not only ourselves, but also for the benefit of others.   We can comfort others with the very same comfort that we have received from God. His words are words of life. When offering words of comfort and hope to others who are hurting, use the words of life from the Giver of life.

Galatians 5:13-14
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Our religion Godward is not out of “have to” but “get to”. This freedom causes us to see how close we can elegy to the Lord and not to see what we can get away with. The latter is the fear of those living by law and resisting the gospel of the grace of God. But what Christ has really done is freed us from the bondage of always falling short of the glory of God and He has made us accepted in the Beloved. We now serve God with a clear conscience and seek to benefit the saints in any way possible. We love the Lord with all our being and love our neighbor as ourself. Living by grace enables you to fulfill the law!

“Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.”  Psalm 63:3-7

Remember the Lord brethren and be satisfied!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.”
Romans 15:13

Hope is ours when we come to Jesus and know our salvation is without a doubt a reality.  Hope and peace come with a condition ………know Christ!  Hope is ours, Brethren.  The hope of eternity spent with Christ is in sight for those that keep their eyes on Him.
