“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life.” (2 Cor 2:14-15)
What confidence and purpose this word plants in the heart of the believer. Though battle may occur, triumph is sure in Christ. Though man is fragile and weak, man is God’s chosen vessel for diffusing His manifold wisdom. God is doing such a work in His people that others, in greater clarity, can perceive their abounding to life or corrupting to death through associations with the redeemed of the Lord. May my life (and yours) be a sweet fragrance to God and all those I encounter today.
